This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
It's been forever since I've written anything here!!! Lots and lots has happened over the past year and there's way too much to go over. Long story-short, hopefully I'll get to "start over" and get some artwork done this year. Gotta find a new job...it'd be absolutely fabulous to do something creative. Unfortunately, that's a little tough to do at the moment.
::sigh::
Well I hope to clean up and reorganize my deviant page so I can get a little motivation going to create!!! Let me know if anyone has any suggestions (on anything: subjects for portraits, jobs, etc)
Your welcome ! By the way, when you use the scratchboard or w/e it's called there's no space for mistakes right? I mean it's not like you can erase, or am I wrong? I've never tryed using scratchboard but I looks awesome
Right, no room for mistakes...gotta be very careful. Sometimes if there's something I really need to fix, I take a black marker and CAREFULLY attempt it. But once the black marker goes on, you can't scratch that off, so it's something else to be very careful with.
Scratchboard is a board or paper that has a layer of white underneath a thin layer of black ink...I usually just buy pre-made sheets of it. Then you scratch away the black ink to reveal the white underneath. Kinda like backwards drawing. You draw the negative space.
You should try it out sometime, it's fun.
How was the show?
Keeping my fingers crossed for ya!
